Closing date for online entries: 11:59pm on 1 June 2025. Limited entries on the night may be available until the race limit has been reached. These will be £13 (affiliated).
Venue/HQ: Foxton Locks Top Car Park (off Gumley Road), 2.5 miles north-west of Market Harborough. Nearest postcode LE16 7RA.
Parking: Visitors must follow the directions of the car parking stewards.
Start: The race starts at 7.45pm. Parking is right next to the start line at this event.
Route: Brief description is one lap on undulating country roads.
More detailed description: This event starts with a spiralling lap and a bit of the starting field (around 500m), before heading out onto the roads. The first mile is steady uphill, before turning left and heading on a sharp downhill of well over a mile to the village of Lubenham, after another left turn, the course goes uphill for over a mile. The last mile of the course is fairly flat, and heads back onto the field for a reverse loop of the field (again 500m), spiralling to the finish line.
On the night: Please wear your club kit, especially if entered affiliated. There is normally a photo on the field next to the start line, about 10 minutes before the off. If you have entered any of the EMGP series, use your series number. Otherwise, your number will be available for collection on the day at the Race tent.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to go back and encourage others, but make sure you don't get in the way of other runners, and follow any marshal or event instructions.
Do not race if you have been unwell. Always follow marshals instructions. It is the runner’s responsibility to provide their own water or refreshments during the race. Water is provided at the finish.
Registration: The Registration Desk is in the marque beside the car parking. There will be no need to register if you have entered by post and already have a number for the Grand-Prix Series.
Results: Results will be posted on the EMGP website soon after the race and on this website within 24 hours.
