This is the first event in our 2026 Club Championships, currently we have 22 members attending, if you would like to enter here is the link, Regency 10k : 1 Mill Street Regency 10k at the time of writing this on 24/03/2026 there were still tickets available.
For some members, this may be their first experience taking part in a large race, and it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. To help make the day more enjoyable, several of our members have kindly offered to run alongside anyone who would like extra support, or to help pace those aiming for a PB, If this is something you’d be interested in, please feel free to speak to John, Tracy, or myself, and we’ll match you with someone who can support you on the day.
If you have a club shirt please wear this, and we will do a group photo at 9.30am, location TBC & when we have all finished.
As always, we’ll be cheering every club member across the finish line. If you still have some energy after your own run, it would be wonderful if you could head back and encourage others too. Just remember to stay clear of the course, be mindful of other runners, and follow any instructions from marshals or event staff to keep everyone safe.

Parking: Parking is available on the roads surrounding the start and finish area. Please consider local residents and park only where it is safe and legal to do so. Do not park on the course itself. Be aware that Leamington Spa now has pay parking. Free parking is mostly available south of the river. For more details on local car parks, visit Warwick District Council parking info. Please do not park on Fernhill Drive or Newbold Terrace East, as road closures will be in place until the race finishes
Baggage Storage: Simply tear off the numbered strip from your runner’s number and attach it to your bag. Then hand into the Baggage Storage, situated at the finish area in Mill Gardens. Un-tagged bags will not be accepted.
Toilets: Temporary toilet cubicles and urinals will be adjacent to the start area.
Event Details : This 10km multi-terrain course takes you through some of the best parks and gardens Royal Leamington Spa has to offer.
- 09:00 – Runners start to gather at Newbold Terrace East in Royal Leamington Spa
- 09:45 – Warm-up commences – line up at the start adjacent to the sign displaying your estimated finish time
- 10:00 – Race Starts
- 10:30 – First runners start to arrive at the finish line – medals are presented as runners finish
- 12:00 – Prize giving (details further below)
Please arrive in good time for the 10.00 am start. We advise arriving between 9.00 am and 9.30 am, the meeting point for members on arrival will be advised in the coming days.
The race starts at Newbold Terrace East and heads in an anti-clockwise direction around Newbold Comyn (where the golf course used to be), before heading back into Royal Leamington Spa town centre, taking in Victoria Park and Jephson Gardens. The finish area is at Mill Gardens, where you will be greeted by large crowds of spectators.
The course is a combination of paved surfaces and bridleways. All the road sections of the course are closed to traffic, making this both a safe and quick course to get around.
There will be post race goodies, with a medal for all runners. You must wear your timing chip to record your time – click here for chip fitting instructions. There is no need to register again on the day.
