Meeting at the Cinema Car Park Daventry, Millennium Way (See map below)
The session starts with a steady (albeit uphill) warm up 700m or so. to get to the route location.
The route is a figure of 8 containing uphill sections.
We will start by going uphill on Ashworth Street, turning left, going downhill on The Pasture, turning right, uphill on Park Leys/The Slade, turning right, downhill on The Pasture once again, turning left this time, and uphill on Ashworth Street once again.
Key to remember is that you have 2 x downhills both on The Pasture, and 2 x uphills (1 on Ashworth Street, 1 on Park Leys/The Slade), to complete 1 lap/the figure of 8/hate.
We will continue in this direction for 15 minutes, before switching direction.
This will mean that your 2 x uphills each lap will both be on The Pasture, and Ashworth Street and Park Leys/The Slade will not be your downhills.

Please be safe whilst running this route. I'd rather you ran it slower and cautious, than fast and reckless. I would recommend staying on the paths when possible, particularly on Badby Road which is by far the busiest road used. It is also the shortest route anyway. On other roads, particularly The Pasture (which you will need to cross twice a lap), and Ashworth Street, you may run in the road. These are fairly quite roads. Please be vigilant of cars coming both into the roads, or leaving drives or curbs outside houses, and also courteous to pedestrians who may also be sharing the paths with us (slow down, and pass carefully please). The surfaces on some parts of the course aren't great (there is some pot holes and cambered surfaces), so please take care where you are running.
After the 2 x 15 minutes in each direction (30 minutes in total), complete the lap you are currently on. Once all regathered at the place where we started the figure of 8, we will take a slow and steady jog back to the Old Gas Works Car Park, a now downhill 700m, where we will do stretches for those that would like them
