Location: Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry, CV3 2AB
Parking: Parking costs up £3 for 1-2 hours.
Transport: If you would like a lift with another member ideally arrange it directly, or email [email protected] and we will try to assist. Let us know to if you are driving and have spare seats too.
On the night: Please wear your club kit, especially if entered affiliated. We will take a photo 10-15 minutes before the off (6:45-6:50pm) near the building/start/finish area. This is where the race briefing will take place also.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to go back and encourage others, but make sure you don't get in the way of other runners, and follow any marshal or event instructions.
Do not race if you have been unwell. Always follow marshals instructions.
Course description: You’ll be running through woodland, meadow and over grass fields. Depending on the weather leading up to the event this could mean muddy, not so muddy or rock hard! There will be exposed trees roots, uneven surfaces and a few gates to navigate but the running will always have a view. The route is undulating but not hilly. A truly great venue and route!
Drinks: Unlike our other events we will have some biodegradable cups with water/electrolyte available on the course. If you have a foldable/collapsible cup you can bring, even better but we don't insist on it for our short races.
Event is sold out, but waiting list places available.
Support: Feel free to come along to watch and cheer on. The location of this event is really nice, and the route allows for seeing runners up to 5 times without having to move, so great for spectating.
