Location: Old Grammarians, Memorial Sports Ground, Sywell Road, Wellingborough NN8 6BS
Registration: Race day registration opens from 8am. Please ensure that you arrive in good time to park and to collect your race number which will contain your timing chip.
Parking: There is free parking at the venue.
Transport: If you would like a lift with another member ideally arrange it directly, or email [email protected] and we will try to assist. Let us know to if you are driving and have spare seats too.
Toilets: There are toilet facilities in the sports ground.
On the day: Please wear your club kit, especially if entered affiliated. We will take a photo 15 minutes before the off (8:45am) near the building/finish area. The race starts out on the road, so there is a good 5 minute walk to get to the start line.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to go back and encourage others, but make sure you don't get in the way of other runners, and follow any marshal or event instructions.
Do not race if you have been unwell. Always follow marshals instructions.
Course description: Is a mainly flat road race (open roads) After leaving the Sports Ground follow the Sywell Road to the Beckworth Emporium before taking the road to Mears Ashby then looping back round to the Sywell Road and no to the finsh Elevation is +127 and -127 Feet.
Drinks: There is no water station on the course. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own water for the race. At the finish there will be bottled water for each finisher, to reduce the impact on the environment please take your bottle home and recycle it .

Support: Feel free to come along to watch and cheer on. The course is not particularly spectator friendly, however you can watch from the cricket club to see runners go past soon after the start, and coming into the finish.
