Saturday 30th August - Rugby parkrun
Come and join us a Whinfield Recreation Ground in Rugby for our club's August parkrun tourism event.
Facilities: There are no toilets at Whinfield Rec. The nearest public toilets are in the town centre. There is free car parking available in the park. Parking is restricted on Butlin Road and sections of Clifton Road. See Getting There for more information.
Start Location: The course starts on the path at the rear entrance to Eastfield School and the briefing is held at what three words vocab.alert.line.
Course information: The course description seems complicated/long, however in summary it's a two (or one and a bit) lap course. for those that are interested, it can be found here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/rugby/course/
Extra Information: If you have a club shirt please wear this, and we will do a group photo at 8.45am, near the start line.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to run back and support others.
Due to only having externally seating available, if the weather is nice, we can grab a post-parkrun breakfast at The Canal Lounge @ Bridge 66 at Clifton Wharf, CV23 0EY. This is within walking distance of the parkrun (1k away). Or alternatively we can head into town to go to Wetherspoons, if covered seating is required.
