This session is aimed at helping you to:
- Increase speed and endurance
- To hit a goal pace for a race
- To teach your body to perform when uncomfortable
- Test your lactic acid threshold
- Increase aerobic and anaerobic capacity
We will meet on the Heartlands estate, parking is along Lamport Drive.
We will warm up for 1 mile before starting the session which is:
- One minute hard, one minute easy
- Two minutes hard, two minutes easy
- Three minutes hard, three minutes easy
- Four minutes hard, four minutes easy
- Three minutes hard, three minutes easy
- Two minutes hard, two minutes easy
- One minute hard, one minute easy
We will then cool down for one mile
Hard is running at 85-90% effort
Easy is running at 50-75% effort
