This session is aimed at helping you to:

  • Increase speed and endurance
  • To hit a goal pace for a race
  • To teach your body to perform when uncomfortable
  • Test your lactic acid threshold
  • Increase aerobic and anaerobic capacity

We will meet on the Heartlands estate, parking is along Lamport Drive. 

We will warm up for 1 mile before starting the session which is:

  • One minute hard, one minute easy
  • Two minutes hard, two minutes easy
  • Three minutes hard, three minutes easy
  • Four minutes hard, four minutes easy
  • Three minutes hard, three minutes easy
  • Two minutes hard, two minutes easy
  • One minute hard, one minute easy

We will then cool down for one mile

Hard is running at 85-90% effort 

Easy is running at 50-75% effort
