This is essentially a hill repeats session on a 5k route.
To get the benefit from the session, push yourself as hard as you can on the uphill sections but take the downhill sections steady.
Here are the directions, it’s less complicated than it looks, however it’s recommended that you download the route on your watch particularly if you’re a faster runner), if not stick with someone that has the route!
Warm up – From the Peppermill around Christchurch Drive, along Badby Road West and cross over Western Avenue to Badby Road.
Your session will start immediately, you will run along Badby Road and take a right DOWN The Slade and take a left onto Park Leys
Run along Park Leys, take a left and run UP the Pasture
Take a right onto Badby Road, run along and take a right, running DOWN Ashworth Street
Take a left onto Park Leys, run to the end and take a left and run UP London Road
Turn left onto Badby Road, run along take a left and run DOWN Ashworth Street
Take a right onto Park Leys, run along take a right and run UP The Pasture
Cool down - Take a left, run along Bacby Road, take a left and run down The Slade for its full length until you reach London Road
Take a right and follow London Road to the Esso petrol station, follow the road round and run along Western Avenue until you reach the Peppermill
Faster runners are welcome to do a further loop of Christchurch Drive/Badby Road West and then return to the Peppermill along Western Avenue.
